Absen have been awarded various Geotechnical work projects across the UK. With the current weather wreaking havoc with the rail network, Absen are providing a highly motivated workforce of IRATA trained and Sentinel PTS trained operatives. Work is currently being carried out in Exeter, Swansea, Weston- Super-Mare and Hooley cutting in Surrey. The work includes drilling of soil nails and meshing works to retain the failing embankments. Neil Wibrew from Absen said “We are pleased to be providing a significant number of rope access staff to BAM Nuttall and BAM Ricthies to sites throughout the UK. It has been keeping us extremely busy since last year and over the Christmas and New Year period”.
Absen have recently invested a significant amount of money into their LINK-UP approval in a bid to ensure all of our IRATA trained operatives have the Sentinel PTS training and sponsorship required to work on the railway in a professional manner. Absen hope to continue to provide support to BAM for many years to come.
